FC Nordsjaelland 1-1 Juventus

Mirko Vucinic scored a late equaliser
for Juventus in a 1-1 stalemate at FC
Nordsjaelland as the Italians bagged a
third draw in Group E of the
Champions League.
With Shakhtar Donetsk taking a firm
grip of the table with victory over
current champions Chelsea, it was the
perfect chance for the Italians to
breathe fire into their campaign but
will they be grateful for a point after a
lively contest in Denmark.
Both defences stood firm in a thrilling
and open first half, but it was the
Danish champions who took the lead
after the break as Mikkel Beckmann
curled in a stunning free-kick from 20
yards.
Gianluigi Buffon was in top form for
the visitors in goal as Andrea Pirlo
created a few fireworks at the other
end and with nine minutes left they
were deservedly level.
Mirko Vucinic came off the bench to
salvage the draw as he volleyed in
Mauricio Isla's low cross from the right
as his team secured a ninth successive
draw in European competition.
