Man Utd 3-2 Braga

Javier Hernandez scored twice as
Manchester United came from two
goals down to maintain their 100%
record in the Champions League, with
a 3-2 victory over Braga at Old Trafford.
The Mexican netted with a brace of
headers, to give United their third win
in Group H and move the Red Devils to
within touching distance of the knock-
out stages.
However, the hosts made a dreadful
start conceding the opening goal inside
100 seconds when Osorio Alan leapt
highest to head home Miguel Hugo
Viana's cross from 12 yards.
And it was 2-0 in the 20th minute when
Antonio Eder's low pass was clinically
side-footed home by the ever-alert
Alan.
United reduced the arrears five
minutes later as Shinji Kagawa's
chipped cross was headed home by
Hernandez from close range, although
keeper Beto will feel he should have
done better.
As United dominated after the break, a
Robin van Persie free-kick was pushed
away by Beto before Jonny Evans
levelled matters in the 62nd minute.
The Ulsteman hooked the ball home
from close range, after needing two
bites of the cherry to latch on to van
Persie's corner.
As United chased a winner, a fierce
Nani (71) strike was saved brilliantly by
Beto before Hernandez came up with
United's decisive third a few minutes
later.
The young striker was at his clinical
best to head home Tom Cleverley's
cross, while an unmarked van Persie
missed a great chance to extend their
advantage nine minutes from time.
