Super Eagles To Wear Black Arm Bands For Slain Students in Mubi&Aluu

The Super Eagles will today wear Black arm
bands in their Nations’ cup qualifying match
against Liberia as a mark of respect for the
slained students of the University of Port
Harcourt nad the Federal Polytechnic, Mubi.
According to a spokesperson of the Nigerian
Football Federation (NFF ), the gesture is to
identify with the country in thismoment of grief
and also show a mark of respect to the departed
souls.
“We are deeply touched by the sad event and the
Eagles will be wearing black arm bands even as
the Nation continues to mourn these young
Nigerians.”
It would be recalled that about 46 students were
massacred few weeks ago in Mubi before 4
