Dynamo Kiev 2-0 Dinamo Zagreb

Dynamo Kiev grabbed their first points
of this season's Champions League
campaign with a 2-0 victory over
visiting Dinamo Zagreb in Group A.
Both goals came before the break with
Oleh Gusyev opening the scoring after
just three minutes when he headed
home Ognjen Vukojevic's cross.
The second arrived 12 minutes before
half time and came courtesy of an own
goal from Josip Pivaric whose knee
inadvertently diverted Taye Taiwo's low
cross into his own net.
In a first half dominated by the hosts,
Zagreb keeper Ivan Kelava tipped away
an Aide Brown header while also
blocking Miguel Veloso's free kick.
Zagreb almost pulled one back after
the break only to be denied by keeper
Oleksander Shovkovskiy who prevented
substitute Dune Cop from forcing the
ball over the line.
At the other end Kelava came to
Zagreb's rescue once again to prevent
Gusev from claiming his second goal of
the match.
And, late on, Brown chipped the
advancing Kelava only to see his effort
cleared off the line by Tonel.
