The PSG striker has hit out at his
former employers and one-time
Inter team-mate, after the
Manchester City forward was linked
with a move to play in La Liga.
Paris Saint Germain striker Zlatan
Ibrahimovic has claimed Mario
Balotelli would be a good fit for his
former side Barcelona, claiming both
are average.
The Swedish captain played one
season for the Catalan outfit after
moving from Inter in the summer of
2009, in a deal worth €46 million
(£37m) plus Samuel Eto'o.
However, following a bitter dispute
with manager Pep Guardiola, the
forward returned to Serie A with Milan
just one season later for a substantial
loss.
And Ibrahimovic has now expressed
his disdain for his former employers
and ex-Inter team-mate Balotelli,
following recent suggestions the 22-
year-old could be heading to Spain.
"Real Madrid? In fact Barcelona is the
team which fix better with Balotelli. A
medium player for a medium team,"
Ibrahimovic told Honduran
newspaper Diez .
Ibrahimovic has started life at new
club PSG with a bang, notching nine
goals in just seven league
appearances.
